Handling a busy switchboard in a timely and efficient manner. Taking messages and transferring calls correctly
Dealing with office post and couriers
Daily updating of systems & records
Daily administrative duties, as required
Meeting and greeting all incoming guests and visitors in a friendly manner
Managing meeting room bookings, organising catering and meeting set up as required
Business Support
Provide secretarial/administrative support to several Pension Consultants in line with agreed timeframes to assist them meet Client Service Delivery deadlines
Working with Office Management Team to ensure smooth running of office
Assisting in any ad-hoc project work

The Receptionist & Business Support role will allow you to have exposure to different parts of the Aon business: you will work alongside with pension consultants in the Human Capital solution, assisting them with back-office activities and making sure to support client’s needs. You will be part of a supportive growth building team, where you can enhance your skills and help different teams to excel.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
The Reception & Business S upport will have the following skills:
E xperience in a reception , secretarial or office administrator role is essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English is imperative
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
High attention to detail and a bility to multitask are essential to be able to prioritise workloads usi ng good t ime management
Excellent interpersonal skills and professional approach and attitude
Self-Starter, proactive and proven ability at successfully working on own initiative
Flexibility in role to take on additional duties as requested
