Hilton Labor & Employee Relations Specialist in Coronado, California

As the Labor and Employee Relations Specialist, you will be responsible forpreliminary andadministrativedutiesof the Labor and Employee Relations Departmentwithday-to-daytasks relative to Team Member Relations, Investigations, Grievance and Mediation, Discipline review and filing and all other duties as assigned.

What will I be doing?

  • Administer all intake of Labor/Employee Relations issues, complaints and grievances
  • Gather and collect all evidence and documentation related to Team Member Discipline and distribute as required.
  • Assist Director of Labor Relations with all grievances, investigations and inquires.
  • Coordinate information inquiries from Union, Team Members and Managers.
  • Assist with administrative functions, such as Grievance Log, Labor Report, Monthly Union Increase and annual Wage Increases.
  • Assists with projects such as Progressive Discipline and Contract training classes and other Human Resources related documentation and records.
  • Assistteammemberswith anyquestionsandprocedures and assist with HR Front Desk Receptionist duties.

Supportive Functions:

  • Assist HR staff members with any administrative functions as necessary
  • Assist HR staff members with special events and projects
  • Participates in industry organizations
  • Participates as a member of the hotel's Safety Committee
  • Other duties and responsibilities as requested

The h ourly rate is $25.00 - $26.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
