Minimum/Required Qualifications BS or BA in Human Development, Child
Development, Early Childhood Education or related field. 2+ years\'
experience as a program administrator (Director, Assistant Director,
etc.) in a licensed early care and education setting responsible for
management and supervision of adults. 1+ year of experience in a birth
to three ECE program Demonstrable contributions to promoting and
enhancing diversity in early care and education. Effective verbal and
written communication. Must be enrolled in the Oregon\'s Office of Child
Care Central Background Registry by time of appointment. Position Duties
75% Program Administration: Plans, develops, coordinates, administers,
executes, and assesses all aspects of the infant/toddler program,
including maintaining the appropriate state licensure and quality
assurance certifications/accreditations (NAEYC and QRIS/Spark 5),
providing/organizing staff (teacher) training and development,
recruitment and outreach to families, and disseminating program
materials and information. Establishes, manages, and maintains
collaborations and partnerships with various OSU departments, units,
colleges, and programs as well as resources outside of OSU in support of
children and families accessing the Center and in support of students
interning in the Center. 20% Supervision: Provides supervision including
plan, assign and approve work; respond to grievances; hire/fire (or
effectively recommend); prepare and sign performance evaluations/reviews
of employees including classified and/or professional faculty.
Supervision and assessment of OSU HDFS interns. 5% Other duties as
