Title: Intern, RVCA Men’s Merchandising

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Support RVCA Merchandising through sample organization, data validation, photoshoot preparation, and support for key milestone meetings. This position will report to the Director of Global Merchandising.
Assist the merchandising team with SMS buy logs and POs, confirming vendor invoices, sample tracking and check-in, and sample organization
Assist the sample coordinator in unboxing and organizing SMS and marketing lines
Participate in and assist with in-house photoshoots which includes steaming, hanging, tagging, & prepping samples
Assist in outfit selection for photoshoots
Prep and coordinate sample availability for key meetings
Work with the design team to facilitate color card creation per season
Update category overviews as needed throughout the season
Data entry and updates after milestone meetings
Analyze bookings & assist in building hindsight decks prior to seasonal kick off
Learn the process of building a seasonal range from start to finish
Other duties may be assigned
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Ability to work 16 hours per week, in-person / on-site from June 4 – August 29 (remote hours are not available)
Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Buying & Merchandising or a related field
Effective time management and attention to detail
Strong organizational and operational skills
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
Proficiency in Illustrator and Excel
Must be able to lift 25lbs and work in a fast past environment
