Facilities Maintenance (Bus Wash/Fuel)

Full-Time

Starting Wage: $23.85 per hour   

(Full Step Increase Wage Range: $23.85 - $29.74 per hour)

This individual performs routine cleaning, fueling, and servicing of all agency vehicles.

Position is based in Coupeville, WA.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  2. One year of experience fueling and servicing vehicles, preferred.
  3. Experience operating small machinery and tools related to the cleaning, of vehicles, preferred.
  4. Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the job.
  5. Must possess a valid Washington State driver's license, and be able to obtain and maintain a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement and air brake restriction lifted. [Training & Testing provided by Island Transit.]{.underline}
  6. Must have an acceptable driving record that meets the agency's hiring criteria and maintain acceptable driving record during employment.
