Plant, transplant, weed, thin, hoe, harvest, maintain, and other required tasks. Sort, wash, pack, prepare crops for storing and shipping. Transport, deliver crops from field to farm and/or retail stand. Transport, deliver crops for storing and shipping. Cut brush and other vegetation in and around fields, buildings, and equipment. May assemble wreaths with harvested materials. Operate, load, maintain, repair, unload trucks, tractors and other farm vehicles, implements and trailers. Operate, maintain, repair vegetable washing, grading, sorting equipment. Will set up, maintain, and operate varied irrigation equipment. Repairs and maintains farm worker housing and structures. 30-minute meal break.

Crops: mixed organic vegetables, fruits, herbs.

Two months experience in farm work, such as harvesting, planting, grading, and greenhouse production, is preferred. Must be able to perform job duties to employers\' satisfaction. Must be able to comply with instructions from supervisors. Must behave in a courteous, professional manner. Sundays may be offered. Daily beginning/ end times will vary depending on crop and other conditions.

Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals and will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.

Employer may provide occasional meals when kitchen facilities are not available, and if so, will not deduct the allowable meal rate.

Work hours are determined by crop and weather conditions or animal needs and weather conditions, depending on the job offered. The work day may begin/end earlier or later on any given day and evening, night hours may be required. Workers may be requested to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, and the Sabbath depending on crop conditions and need.

No smoking allowed in houses, shop, pickup, trucks, tractors, or any other equipment. No use of illicit drugs or narcotics. At the sole discretion of the employer, workers may be required to submit to a post hire drug test, paid by the employer. Positive results or refusal to take the test may result in immediate termination.

Only workers may occupy the housing unless other arrangements have been made with the employer. Workers must vacate the housing promptly at the end of the contract or upon termination.

Employees are expected to keep their vehicles clean and free of trash. Employees are expected to conduct frequent cleanings of their housing and maintain the yard.

Any worker found to have a criminal conviction, DWI, commits serious acts of misconduct, refuses to follow instructions, violates work rules, fails to perform job duties in a competent manner, or other lawful job-related reasons will be subject to termination.

Workers must be physically able to perform all job duties safely, quickly, and skillfully.

Workers who have a clean driving record and insurable driver\'s license may be required to drive company vehicles.

The employer will provide at no cost to workers an effective means of communicating with persons capable of responding to the workers needs in case of an emergency.

Employer may terminate Employee if the Employee (a) refuses without justified cause to perform work for which the worker was recruited and hired, (b) commits a serious act of misconduct, or (c) fails, after completing any training or break-in period, to reach production standards when production standards are applicable.
