SAIC Production Control Engineering Technician IV in CRANE, Indiana

Description

SAIC is looking for a Production Control Engineering Technician IV in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will provide semi-professional technical support for engineers working in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement. Work pertains to electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment. This position will perform non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity that are typically parts of broader assignments and are screened to eliminate unusual design problems.

Job duties include:

  • Responsible for all Inductions, Turn-In’s and Overall Asset Management

  • Manages all asset movement between Shops

  • Manages all ERP Status Tracking of NAVSUP and NAVAIR asset workload

  • Responsible for SWMS Management

  • Plan, Project and Process Loading and Upkeep

  • Personnel Management Roles and Responsibility determination and upkeep in SWMS

  • Management of hours and materials input against the shop orders to maintain accurate Workload Standards

  • Scheduling and proper execution of all SWMS assets

  • Assists in the DMISA Negotiation Planning

  • Pulls historical information (Usage, Labor, Material, Customers, Stock On Hand, Etc.)

  • Manages NAVSUP, Program Office and FST Interactions on material readiness and locations

  • Manages OM&S Requirements and keeps WXS in compliance

  • Works down Goods Receipts issues to be able to close out old funding documents

  • Assists in creating and editing documents, flow charts and processes to implement consistency

  • Manages FMS assets and reporting

  • Requires segregation of assets and materials

  • Requires frequent interaction on statuses as the RAAF have a much smaller pool of assets

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's Degree in related discipline and two (2) years or more of related experience; Or, High School Diploma and four (4) years of related experience.

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Interim Secret needed to start.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Microsoft Excel experience

  • Have some practical knowledge of science or engineering.

DESIRED

  • Knowledge of government system (Example: SWMS)

  • Technical background

  • Database experience
