As the Director of Global Brand Management & Channel Support, you will lead the global brand management team and partner closely with the channel sales team to help grow the Beats brand and further strengthen our business. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this is a highly strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of brand strategies on a global scale. You will be focused on increasing brand awareness, customer engagement and revenue growth through the execution of innovative brand management initiatives. You will align and motivate cross-functional teams across marketing fields to complete initiatives that drive growth for Beats. Whether it be product launches or ongoing brand building, you will demonstrate strong quantitative and qualitative marketing strategies to drive brand love and sales growth. Your proven abilities include outlining brand goals, overseeing creative and content production, optimizing paid media budgets, supporting sales teams in key partner meetings, and inputting on product roadmap initiatives. You have an in-depth understanding of cultural trends and how youthful generations interact with consumer products. You are an expert in driving bold, memorable marketing initiatives and partnerships across sports, music, gaming & fashion that generate significant earned media.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in customer-facing brand management roles, preferably in a global or multinational organization.

  • Highly strategic — has the unique ability to see and define the bigger picture while having a strong attention to all of the details. Earn significant influence across the organization, irrespective of whether or not you “own” the decision-making.

  • Extremely strong presenter and storyteller with the ability to drive excitement and consensus across a broader team. Highly creative and capable of developing powerful brand messaging and content ideas.

  • Comfortable navigating cross-functionally within a large organization.

  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, positive attitude — skilled at motivating teams.

  • Experience building relationships with reseller partners and implementing co-marketing campaigns.

  • Deep expertise in building talent-led campaign across sports, music, gaming & fashion.

  • Ability to manage budgets and analyze performance with ROI/data-driven metrics.

Description

  • Lead brand & product positioning, key messaging, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints. Develop bold, powerful messaging and content that drives product excitement and brand love. - Build product launch campaigns that reach customers across key Millennial & Gen Z demographic groups. Implement high impact strategies that generate significant earned media, enabling Beats to stand out from the crowd. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, media, PR, influencer/sports/music marketing, product marketing) to drive brand innovation, differentiation, and relevance in the marketplace. - Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to find opportunities for brand enhancement and market growth. Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and educate cross-functional teams on market opportunities. - Regularly monitor and analyze critical metrics, market trends, and competitive landscape to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. - Support channel sales team by creating product & marketing materials that drive partner excitement. Build co-marketing campaigns that support marketing initiatives for both Beats and our top reseller partners. - Build and lead a hard-working global brand management team that scales across North America, Europe & Asia. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members. - Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team and across functional areas.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $237,500.00 and $380,400.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
