TEKsystems is seeking an experienced financial analyst for a long-term contractor position for our client based in Culver City, CA. The right person for this role will be hands on when juggling multiple priorities, and will thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are key traits for success in this position.
Please note that this role requires 3 days on-site each week in Culver City.
Responsibilities:
Manage relevant budget and forecast processes with acute attention to detail
Monitor internal spend databases for forecast and budget reporting for the business teams and other stakeholders
Complete supplier purchase order processes to ensure necessary work is never interrupted
Respond to internal and external billing inquiries and investigate as needed
Perform requested ROI analyses to review and improve our spending practices
Own crucial aspects of the budgeting and forecast process.
Skill Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum 2+ years related financial and data analysis, workflow and cost modeling
Advanced Excel spreadsheet and modeling skills
Experience with financial processes and budget controls to ensure business teams remain in compliance and within budget
Experience with financial systems and Tableau reporting a plus
Quick learner and adaptable to a multi-tasking environment
Analytical/problem-solving skills at both macro and micro levels
Detailed budgeting and forecasting experience
BS degree required or equivalent practical experience within accounting, finance, and general business operations/processes
