Apple Store Online is looking for a Senior Manager to lead the WW and AMR Commercial team focused on key customer segments and storefronts. You will drive business strategy, operations, and performance management for three primary business areas: Education (college students), Small and Medium Business (<500 employees), and Refurbished. This role will define the strategic direction for these programs globally. Education is at the core of Apple’s DNA. Apple’s products and services play an important role in supporting students both in and out of the classroom. This role will set the strategic direction for Apple Retail in how we reach students to tell Apple’s education story, redefine how students shop and buy products for school, and develop new ways to enable ownership globally. Apple’s products are geared as much for work as they are for everyday lives. This role will partner across Apple and Retail to help re-imagine how Apple Retail goes to market with Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) globally across the areas of customer segmentation, shopping experience, affordability, and other value propositions. Apple’s Certified Refurbished products provide customers with an exceptional option when it comes to sustainability as well as additional affordability. Apple Retail offers high grade certified refurbished products in the market, and are a leader in the growing second hand hardware market. This role will define the strategic direction for this program globally.

Key Qualifications

  • 15+ years of business and commercial experience in a global capacity

  • Proven experience leading one or more business units, including sales ownership

  • 7+ years experience leading a high-performance commercial teams

  • Demonstrated ability to develop impactful go-to-market growth strategies, with clear business objectives and associated revenue opportunities

  • Experience with unique customer verticals, including developing and advocating for these verticals within a large matrixed organization

  • Skilled at identifying key problems to solve for within a business area, using insights/data, discussing and debating opportunities, as well as developing an informed point of view

  • Strong storyteller as it relates to a broader business performance narrative, commercial strategy, or other business pitch, with comfort in a senior executive environment

  • Experience with developing commercial levers to drive demand in a Retail environment, across products and markets

  • Ability to engage and influence partners cross-functionally and at all levels

  • Role models inclusive leadership behaviors and builds, develops and retains diverse teams

  • Contributes to an inclusive environment through respecting each others’ differences and having the curiosity to learn

Description

The Education, SMB, and Refurbished team is responsible for the following: -Owns revenue and unit sales across segment verticals, along with other critical metrics (Traffic, Conversion, Ways to Buy, NPS) -Manages the business operationally, including partnership across partner functions: Finance, Marketing, Merchandising, Fulfillment -Develops go-to-market strategies for each customer vertical to grow total Apple in core product lines (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch, Accessories, Services) -Create specific proposals that grow incremental revenue and unit sales, while also providing the best experience for our customers -Looks for new ways to grow the pie for Apple and Retail in each of Education, SMB, and Refurbished, including at key intersections, including the product and country level -Demonstrates Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities -Takes action to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members

Education & Experience

Degree in relevant subject area or equivalent experience. MBA a plus.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $218,200.00 and $328,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
