As a part of the PLM team, acts as a liaison between the Safran Seats GB (SSGB) and the central PLM team, ensuring business

requirements are defined, and adequate support is provided during various phases of OnePLM and other major transformation projects at SSGB. Articulation of the wider consumer journeys impacted by various digital tool chain and acting as the ‘bridge' between customer needs and capabilities of the technology are the key elements to achieve value realisation of OnePLM project.

This role includes pro-actively gathering information from a variety of sources, including through meetings at various levels

within organisation & external solution partners and will be expected to challenge appropriately.

Complementary Description

Conducting effective analysis to clarify, evaluate business requirements for change in a manner, which supports the

business strategic goals in the context of OnePLM transformation project. This includes documentation of requirements

using various methods, such as: Process Mapping; User stories; Use Cases; Impact Mapping; Functional and NonFunctional Requirements Specifications.

 Responsible for conducting gap analysis of any new requirements and articulate business impact.

 Proactively engage with the stakeholders for information gathering from a variety of sources within organisation & external partners, and challenge appropriately adding views on best practices (CAD, PLM) and present the findings in precise manner. Supporting governance and delivery of assigned initiatives where required.

 Coordinate activities within the project team (not full project management but may need to coordinate sub-streams or activities related to business analysis) across global business units.

 As part of OnePLM core team, responsible to ensure correct support model is deployed during Solution development, UAT and post Go-Live to warrant excellent customer services and positive project outcomes.

 Preparing and delivering a report of their findings to leadership with comprehensive risk and impact assessment.

 Developing comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) test cases during various phases of the OnePLM Project.

 Overseeing the implementation of approved process improvement

Job Requirements

Qualified to a minimum of degree in Mechanical /Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science field with extensive experience in PLM, PDM or any Enterprise IT system deployment.

Working knowledge of CAD, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system such as PTC Windchill and/or system integration with other enterprise applications.

Experienced in Requirements gathering, prioritisation, Process mapping & documenting customer journey with an ability to present key insights from synthesizing data and voice of customers.

Excellent research and analytic skills

In-depth knowledge of data modelling techniques

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working knowledge of MS Office tools and other relevant software packages

Specificity of the job

Some travel may be required as part of the role.
