Description MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPER (RDTE-21-1470-F):
Bowhead is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to support a Department of Navy customer in Dahlgren, VA. Mobile Application Developer will lead by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. In addition, will work autonomously to deliver project phases on time and budget according to project specifications. Plans, conducts and coordinates programming of mobile applications of considerable complexity requiring a thorough understanding of all parameters affecting and interfacing with the application. Provides technical advice and consultation on complex programming applications. Leading architecture and development of iOS applications. Communicate technical limitations and roadblocks to the team. Assisting the client support team using technical background. Able to assess feasibility, difficulty, and provide time estimates on implementing new features to an application. Work with backend developers to integrate and consume restful API’s. Recommends and develops programming and documentation standards. Prepares cost analysis and justification for programming projects. May provide work leadership for lower level employees.
Requirements • A minimum of 3 year of experience in hybrid and native mobile application development and integration.
• Meaningful development experience in modern development frameworks including React Native, Ionic, Angular, Node, Swift, Kotlin.
• Familiarity with agile development practices.
• Experience working with Git version control in a collaborative team environment, creating pull requests and performing code reviews.
• Ability to work in various team sizes that could scale anywhere from working solo to a team of ten plus developers across various disciplines
• Deep understanding of UIKit, Foundation, and other core iOS frameworks
• Adaptive to ambiguity and willing to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience integrating restful APIs and Web services.
• Contributed to at least one application on the Apple AppStore

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
