Job Purpose

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for automotive and technical products through launch and lifecycle. You will be responsible for understanding the market, competitive set, target needs, pricing and have the ability competitively launch new products in the EV market.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong understanding of what digital products, features, and experiences each Canoo customer persona desires

  • Lead the decision-making of telematics data modeling and architecture needed to enable current and future desired data products across the Canoo Ecosystem

  • Seek out and identify opportunities to develop or consume data products in collaboration with 3rd parties to bring further convenience and value to customers in the Canoo Ecosystem

  • Work closely with other teams across Canoo and its partners to ideate and translate ideas and opportunities into concrete technical requirements for execution

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and integration of data products, both across Canoo front-end and back-end landscape, as well as ensuring proper integration with our partners

  • Establish and oversee reporting of metrics to monitor the performance of data products, such as latency, errors, uptime, and consumption by partners

  • Monitor and manage partner performance within the Canoo Ecosystem, ensuring the highest quality experience for Canoo customers

  • Lead a direct team of up to 10 people responsible for the development and management of data products, including roles such as data scientists, data engineers, data architects, and data product managers

    Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in areas such as data product development, data product management, data analytics, data engineering, data architecture, or similar technical area, with at least 2 years of experience at the manager level

  • Passionate about customer experience, open-minded, and self-reflecting

  • Able to effectively lead cross-functional teams

  • Are a thought leader with ability to define and execute a cohesive product vision

  • Are able to build relationships easily, both internally and with partners

  • Have excellent communication and comprehension skills

  • Are detail-oriented, highly precise, flexible, and proactive, demonstrating strong critical thinking, common sense, and innovation

  • Have a willingness to learn new and innovative automotive technologies

  • Want to grow in an ambitious organization

  • Have experience working in agile teams

  • Have great organizational skills and like to multitask

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in the Automotive or EV industry

  • Experience with data monetization
