Kimley-Horn, one of FORTUNE Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our growing Project Accounting team in Dallas, TX! Qualified candidates will be customer service oriented, have a strong work ethic, solid computer skills, the ability to multi-task and act in a professional manner.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with preparation of invoices
Data entry
Support to Project Accountants
Inputting new project setups (jobstarts) into the MIS (Deltek CostPoint)
Vendor inquiries and coordination
Cash receipt backup
Review and approval of expenses
Mailing, emailing invoices and copies of invoices
Assisting with collections
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience or coursework
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
High degree of professionalism and strong people skills
Excellent team player
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a deadline driven environment
Effective oral and written communication skills
Deltek CostPoint and basic Microsoft Excel proficiency a plus
