AT&T Director-Aircraft Maintenance in Dallas, Texas
Responsible for overall fleet maintenance resulting in compliance with aircraft manufacturer, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other applicable regulatory requirements. This position has responsibility for supervision of mechanics and inspectors. The incumbent is responsible for the overall maintenance program, policies, quality control and for planning, schedule and assigning work. Coordinates with flight scheduling to ensure aircraft maintenance requirements are met while accommodating passenger schedules.
Directs establishment and implementation of an aircraft inspection program to ensure the continued airworthiness and availability of company aircraft. Directs subordinates managing inventory of spare aircraft parts and supervises aircraft maintenance record-keeping activities. Consults with administration group to develop aircraft acquisition, facilities and force plans. Oversees aircraft completion process with related aircraft and component manufacturers. The incumbent has an A&P license, has attended the aircraft manufacturer-approved training school. Familiar with applicable Federal Aviation regulations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation preferred, FAA mechanic certificate
with Airframe and Powerplant ratings. Experience: Typically requires 10 or more years of
experience and previous supervisory experience within a large corporate flight department preferred. Supervisory: Yes
