Description
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the diverse financial functions. This role includes managing operations and finance, financial reporting and planning for the Board of Directors, human resources finances, campus planning and renovation finances, and enrollment and tuition strategic projections.
Responsibilities:
Operations and Finance:
Establish a robust working relationship with the Head of School to present financial plans and annual budgets to the finance committee
Achieve the objectives by recommending preliminary annual budget operational figures
Secure cost control systems that promote efficiency within the bounds of the educational standards and budget
Human Resources:
Campus Planning and Renovation:
Board of Directors:
Create and maintain statistical data for Board analysis and strategic planning
Review and provide financials and other reports for monthly board meetings
Develop reports that lead the Board to undertake systematic and long-range planning
Enrollment & Tuition:
Maintain and analyze multi-year enrollment projections
Recommend annual tuition adjustments within annual budget figures
Fundraising & Advancement:
Collaborate with Accountants to track all fundraising subaccounts
Collaborate with the board to establish an annual fund
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need a proven background in finance and financial planning, excellent management, and leadership skills. An understanding of operation and experience in an educational setting is highly advantageous.
