The FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis) will provide accurate, timely and actionable business insights while helping build a data-driven and analytical culture within the company. They will interact with all departments and levels of the organization and participate in various meetings, projects and training that look to optimize forecasting, planning and tracking processes, standardize reporting, and provide actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
As the FP&A Analyst, you will:
Partner with project and corporate FP&A stakeholders in preparation of weekly and monthly financial packages, dashboards and reporting of key performance metrics
Analyze internal and external data to derive business insights that can improve outcomes
Assist in the standardization of reporting, KPI’s, and data structures
Ensure data integrity of the financial reporting systems and forecasting tools
Facilitate data gathering for new analytical or systems initiatives
Assist in various ad hoc projects as they arise, including changes to sourcing/supply chain, new sales channels, labor efficiency and operating P&L impact.
Work with partners to continually improve processes and reduce non-value add activities
Prepare weekly KPI reporting and with utmost attention to detail and comprehensive understanding of the results being reported.
Prepare regular financial reports for distribution to all levels of the organization, the board of directors, and external stakeholders.
Maintain, improve and create financial models/analysis to analyze results and trends of stores and Central Kitchens.
Attract, motivate and develop a diverse team of finance professionals in support of the company succession planning process.
Work in collaboration with other functions within the organization to analyze business needs and model business cases / ROIs, including but not limited to real estate, marketing, menu changes, price changes, promotional activities, operational initiatives, manufacturing process changes, technology implementations, etc.
Develop tools to better understand and track the behavior of Salad and Go guests
Track industry trends and peer competitive performance.
Ensure data integrity of the financial reporting systems and forecasting tools
Facilitate data gathering for new analytical or systems initiatives
Partner with project and corporate FP&A stakeholders in preparation of weekly and monthly financial packages, dashboards and reporting of key performance metrics
Assist in the standardization of reporting, KPI’s, and data structures
Work with partners to continually improve processes and reduce non-value add activities
Mentor other analysts on utilization of financial reporting and forecasting tools as well as advanced analytical methods
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related quantitative field
3-5 years of relevant experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting and / or accounting, multi-unit experience preferred
Strong Microsoft Excel skills including experience creating and analyzing advanced Excel models
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
Strong problem solving and mathematical skills
