Job Description:

This position will oversee advising services, coordinate communications to students and stakeholders and develop/implement/deliver immigration programming. This position will also provide in-depth advising to international students regarding F regulations and UTD policy and procedures; and general advising on other categories. Will certify eligibility for immigration benefits for F students, including I-20 issuance, OPT / CPT , Economic Hardship, Reinstatement, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and at least two years working as a Department of Homeland Security Designated School Official in a higher education international office, working with DHS SEVIS reporting requirements, F and/or J Programs, and case management and advising relating to regulatory compliance; OR the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience totaling at least six years.
