Description

A client of ours in the insurance industry is looking to hire an office admin to help with different components of their business. This role involves overseeing office functions and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various office functions such as data entry, documentation, and using Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all office functions to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Establish and implement office policies and procedures.

• Supervise office staff and delegate tasks as necessary.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to office functions.

• Ensure quality control of all office output concerning accuracy and relevancy.

• Maintain professional communication via email correspondence with internal and external entities.

• Oversee the submission and underwriting processes.

• Perform research and prepare detailed reports on office operations and project progress.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create spreadsheets and documents.

• Maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Excellent communication skills, including email correspondence

• Experience in data entry, documentation, and office functions

• Ability to supervise and support workstations

• Knowledge of financial reporting and underwriting

• Skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving

• Experience in policy development and research

• Understanding of loan renewal processes and submission procedures

• Ability to operate office equipment such as fax and photocopy machines

• Familiarity with legacy systems

• Experience in quality control and production processes

• Ability to serve as a liaison between different departments or organizations

• Regular attendance and punctuality

• Professional demeanor in all interactions

• Experience with notices and legal documentation.
