    We are currently seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our growing team in the Dallas, Texas manufacturing facility.

    Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receive materials, verify items against the record of shipment and inspect the condition.

  • Understand and issue Non-Conformance Reports to Purchasing and Quality Manager

  • Load and unload trucks using forklift (including gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to established procedures)

  • Organize, stamp, band, stage material for shipping

  • Build crates for packing

  • Maintain the parts and packing area in an clean and organized fashion

  • Respond to internal and external requests for information regarding receiving/shipping data issues

  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned

    Competitive Candidates must:

  • Possess High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Be familiar with shipping documents, both international and domestic

  • Possess basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook and data entry)

  • Possess experience with forklifts and overhead cranes

  • Possess basic math skills and be able to read a tape measure to 1/16” accuracy

  • Maintain a high sense of urgency to meet and exceed all production goals

  • Be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching and twisting throughout shift

  • Be capable of repetitively lifting up to 50 pounds

  • Be able to work overtime on an as-needed basis, which could include weekends and holidays

  • Be able to problem-solve: listen to, interpret, diagnose and rectify problems

  • Have ability to communicate information across different individuals, departments, and external parties

    Additional preferred skills:

  • Manufacturing experience

  • ERP experience

  • Steel warehouse experience
