Description We are searching for an efficient Purchase & Sales Specialist to be stationed in Danvers, Massachusetts. This role will involve a significant amount of data entry and customer service, primarily within the purchasing department. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment handling purchasing activities, including processing purchase orders and invoices, and interacting with vendors and customers.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the processing of all purchase orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure all purchasing activities are conducted in accordance with company guidelines and policies.
• Maintain and update purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
• Perform routine checks on the processing of purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products or services.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving any issues or complaints related to purchases.
• Perform data entry tasks, updating the system with purchase information.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure all business goals are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. Requirements
• Proficient in handling purchase orders and purchasing activities
• Familiarity with purchasing department operations and functions
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite and other relevant software
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
