Description
Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client seeking a Billing Clerk. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of billing procedures, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and addressing billing inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and process accurate and timely customer invoices.
Verify the accuracy of billing data and resolve any discrepancies.
Reconcile billing statements and ensure proper documentation.
Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary billing information.
Investigate and resolve billing-related issues or disputes.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to billing inquiries and resolving concerns.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role.
Knowledge of billing procedures and best practices.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Familiarity with relevant software and accounting systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
