BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Solutions Implementation Manager must possess a track record of exceeding results while collaborating with multiple business units. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive the growth of Inventory Management Solutions through existing and new solutions, enhancing productivity while meeting financial goals, and leading multiple IM Solution Consultants, IMS Managers, and GO Team site leaders across multiple regions. This position is also responsible for the execution of all solutions implementations in the region leading to profitability and stronger customer relationships.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads a team of IMS Managers to ensure all implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meets customers' expectations.

  • Responsible for GO Team in regional footprint. This group targets implementations $750K+ and is expected to install approximately 7 deals per year. Management of the team includes recruiting and onboarding of 3 specialized GO Team associates, as well as providing close oversight of the planning and execution of the implementation from design until handoff.

  • Responsible for leading the team to increase solution penetration working closely with sales leadership to identify new solutions opportunities. This will be measured by the overall solution funnel and percent of opportunities won.

  • Accountable for 25% incremental inventory management solutions and approximately $100M incremental revenue growth.

  • Leads MSC'S dynamic, ever-changing inventory management solutions & MSC’s corresponding program objectives

  • In collaboration with sales leadership, evaluate and analyze data trends to drive continuous improvement in the marketplace

  • Represents solutions on cross functional projects.

  • Responsible for managing current team metrics to customer solutions programs.

  • Manages team’s P&L, annual budget, quarterly forecast, and variable headcount model.

  • Presents to senior leadership, Mid and End of Year Executive Summaries with supporting details.

  • Manages the specific activities & measurements that lead to successful goal achievement for the team and for individual direct reports ensuring that associates have the tools, training and feedback needed.

  • Drives program’s specific financial targets, goals, and actions necessary to achieve customer profitability.

  • Works cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Category Management to drive programs that exceed stakeholder expectations.

  • Collaborates to ensure successful rollout of new solution(s) by execution of rollout plans & delivery of collateral & training materials.

  • Communicates with C-Suite executives

  • Provides mentorship to other managers for team & associate development

  • Directs, coaches, and motivates IMSC team with respect to MSC’s Supply Chain Inventory Management Solutions and adhere to MSC’s policies concerning performance reviews, succession management, etc.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or the equivalent work experience is required.

  • Minimum of five years of sales or supply chain experience is required.

  • Minimum of five years of direct people management or six years complex cross functional project management experience is required.

  • Minimum of two years Industrial/manufacturing sales, knowledge of MSC-like product lines/services and MSC experience is required.

  • Minimum three years supporting value-added customer solutions & inventory programs required.

  • Coaching and/or training experience required

  • Industrial/manufacturing sales, knowledge of MSC-like product lines/services & MSC experience required.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent organizational & time management skills required

  • Leadership, coaching & team building skills required

  • Proven management skills preferred

  • Problem solving and root-cause identification skills required

  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges required

  • Experience with the knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools preferred

  • Computer literacy & proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet & presentation software required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid driver’s license & the ability to travel up to 80%

  • Must adhere to all MSC and customer specific safety requirements such as wearing hardhats, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, etc.

  • Must be able to pass customer-specific background demands which may include but are not limited to drug testing, criminal background checks, etc.

  • This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”).
