Description We are in search of a Bank Teller/MSR to join our team in Davie, Florida. As a Bank Teller/MSR, you will be primarily engaged in front-line duties and managing transactions. This role presents a long term contract employment opportunity in the banking industry.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate teller transactions including but not limited to cashing checks, depositing money, and collecting loan payments
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
• Attend necessary trainings to keep up-to-date with banking policies and regulations
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
• Adhere to the credit union's compliance rules and maintain discretion in all transactions
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Ensure all transactions adhere to the Bank Secrecy Act
• Maintain bank balances and ensure all transactions are done in accordance with bank policy and regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in handling bank deposits and maintaining bank balances accurately.
• Strong understanding and adherence to bank policies and regulations.
• Knowledge and compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act.
• Ability to process bank transactions efficiently and effectively.
• Familiarity with banking software and tools to ensure smooth operations.
• Excellent customer service skills to assist and guide customers in their banking needs.
• Good mathematical and analytical skills for accurate financial calculations.
• Strong communication skills for clear and concise interactions with customers and team members.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness due to the sensitive nature of the job.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and responsibly.
• Basic computer skills to efficiently use banking systems and software.
• Flexibility to work in shifts or during weekends as per banking hours.
• Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
