Program Overview: Northcutt Residential Treatment Center provides mental health treatment to boys between the ages of 6 and 14. Using a team approach, we wrap services around the child and family to help them heal, and to transition back to home, school, and the community. The primary focus of the LPN OR RN position is to follow physician's orders and provide pertinent information to other treatment disciplinary for the progress of client's treatment as well as bring medical concerns and suggestions regarding ongoing treatment and discharge plan to treatment team. Education Requirements: Minimum Certificate or Associates degree from an accredited nursing school.

Certification/License: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)  OR (RN)

Other:

• Caring and empathetic person. Preferred: Knowledge of children who have experienced complex traumas, mental health and substance abuse issues.
• This position requires candidates to pass Safe Crisis Management (SCM) training, which requires individuals to be physically capable of sustained, intense exertion. May not have a physical disability or condition that would prevent one from participating in the physical restraint techniques and exercises (such as dropping repeatedly to knees, supporting another adult's weight, twisting and turning.
