Woolpert’s Financial Analyst will be a leadership role with a significant impact on the quality and effectiveness of financial plans and business decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst will ensure the organization has the tools and knowledge necessary to make sound financial and business decisions and lead other financial analysts.  ​​​


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 5-10 years’ experience​​​, such as:

  • Collecting, analyzing, and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports.

  • Working with management to set and achieve goals and assist in the development and input of assumptions for forecasts and budgets.​​​

  • Developing and presenting performance reports to management enabling them to leverage and maximize financial results.

  • Financial analysis, planning, and strategic development.

  • Team leadership, mentorship or coaching of other financial analysts

  • Dayton, Cincinnati, or Columbus, Ohio travel, residency preferred.


  • Analyzing monthly financials and understanding variances.  

  • Leading preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for revenues, expense, and capital.  

  • Updating weekly cash flow.  

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of key metrics for the business unit.  

  • Understanding the financial aspects of the business and be able to highlight strengths and weaknesses.  

  • Working with the business units to drive cost reductions and process improvements.  

  • Assisting with integration of newly acquired entities.  

  • Conducting ad hoc analysis as needed.  

  • Lead a team of other financial analysts.


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills ​​​

  • Must demonstrate excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
