Description LinQuest is seeking a SkillBridge Subcontracts Associate Intern to join our team LinQuest has a nationally-recognized reputation for technical excellence. We provide world-class engineering and hands-on support to our DoD customers for critically important National Security space programs, systems, and vehicles, including spacecraft. SkillBridge Internship Program Qualifications: Has served at least 180 days on active duty Is within 12 months of separation or retirement Will receive an honorable discharge Have taken any service TAPS/TGPS Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months Received Unit Commander written authorization and approval to participate in the DoD SkillBride program prior to the start of internship Responsibilities: Supports various projects such as performing research, data gathering, as well as updating and maintaining databases, files and documents Actively participate in negotiations such as Nondisclosure Agreements and/or Teaming Agreements Supports the Subcontracts team by participating in a variety of activities and training Prepare and maintain subcontracts files in accordance with internal processes Other responsibilities as assigned Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required Required Skills and Experience: Contracts, Purchasing, or Subcontracts preferred but not required Proficiency with Microsoft office programs Strong interpersonal and communications skills The ability to obtain a security clearance is required SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from LinQuest, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.
