Responsibilities

Summary: We are proud to announce the establishment of a state-of-the-art Li-ion battery factory, set amidst the beautiful Kansas City Metro. This groundbreaking green-field factory will serve as a pioneering hub for innovation in sustainable energy solutions.

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.

Job Summary: Administrative Coordinator supports production and production administrative activities in the areas of MES registration transactions and oversite; act as a liaison between external and internal departments to ensure overall operational success.

Furthermore, responsibilities include leading daily activities with little management oversight, multitasking in a high-volume production environment, and using exceptional interpersonal skills with a highly adaptable attitude.

Additionally, this role supports team supervisor and leadership in coordination of department extracurricular activities, assists with official communications, and leads by example in providing superior level of service and timeliness with all internal and external requests.

Essential Duties:

  • Execute daily MES tasks, start to finish

  • Records production data, including daily production, scrap, and defected inventories

  • Investigate discrepancies/losses regarding MES reporting

  • Provide detailed information on MES lot registration issues and path to find resolution

  • Support Inventory team for monthly head counts

  • Department locker management, maintenance, and allocation

  • Monitor and report trends to management in supply ordering, loss amount, and other production items

  • Follow retention compliance standards for production documentation set by Quality leaders.

  • Support Supervisor in departmental celebratory activity/event coordination

  • Support Supervisor in department communications

  • Supports incoming New Employee Onboarding activities on a weekly basis

  • Perform other qualified duties as requested by leadership

  • Collect and prepare presentations and department data daily.

  • Collaborate with production support teams to create Request for Approval (RFA).

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings for the GM, SPM, and APMs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Support proper implementation of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

  • Ability to work all scheduled shift hours.

  • Ability to train others at same or lower level within functional area.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. Respirator fit test will be required based on functional area.

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education

  • Required: High school diploma, GED or 2 years of prior experience in functional area

Essential Qualifications

  • Must possess ability to adjust positively to changes in work environment

  • Proficient in Excel, must work with multiple spreadsheets, create, and manage complex formulas and conditional formatting

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Knowledge of maintenance and material control procedures

  • Able to analyze maintenance and material data

  • Ability to multi-task across multiple data collection systems tracking and monitoring data to meet requirements

  • Proficient skills in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)

  • Must be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through e-mail and various software applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of administrative experience

  • Manufacturing/production administration experience
