A new Licensed Clinical Social Worker position is now available with Liberty Healthcare at DHCI.

DHCI is a skilled nursing facility located in Smyrna, Delaware – about 40 minutes south of Wilmington.

In this role, you will focus on providing behavioral health care to older adults and people who are living with various physical and cognitive disabilities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating clients and conducting assessments

  • Counseling individuals on various topics and issues

  • Providing consultation to families and guardians

  • Collaborating with other licensed professionals and members of DHCI’s leadership team

  • Training nursing staff and caregivers

You will work alongside an incredibly skilled team of clinicians and ancillary professionals and have the opportunity to spend plenty of time with your clients.

You have the option of working a traditional full-time schedule or a flexible part-time schedule (one, two, or a few days weekly).

If you opt to work full-time, you can expect:

  • Full-time annual salary of $85,000 (prorated for part-time)

You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed professionally in Delaware as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or eligible to become licensed in Delaware.

You should be open to serving older adults; people who have loss of cognitive functioning: individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injury; those who are experiencing mental illness; people who have substance use disorders; and those experiencing end of life issues.
