Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are looking for a well-rounded Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical background who is also well-versed in electrical systems
This position involves working with two other technicians to ensure the plant and machinery remain operational
Daily tasks will include a mix of proactive preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance, with priorities shifting based on machine breakdowns
This role requires teamwork and collaboration to repair machines and maintain production
Responsibilities
Perform daily preventative maintenance (PM) tasks and update records in the computer system
Respond to and prioritize machine breakdowns to ensure minimal downtime
Collaborate with other Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Maintain and repair pumps, motors, conveyors, and other mechanical systems
Read and interpret blueprints for electrical and mechanical systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues including wires, relays, sensors, and voltages up to 480V
Track and trace electrical issues using relay/PLC troubleshooting
Document maintenance activities and repairs in the maintenance system
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing manufacturing/production equipment
Experience with pumps, conveyors, preventative maintenance, plumbing/pumps, gearboxes, gears, motors, welding, plumbing/piping, drive shaft, sprockets, cams, chains, oiling/greasing
1+ year of experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing manufacturing/production equipment
Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical troubleshooting up to 480V
Basic computer skills for reporting maintenance activities
Positive attitude and teamwork skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $35.00/hr.
