Ford Motor Company SRT Programmer in Dearborn, Michigan

In this position…

We are seeking highly motivated analysts to join our Semi-conductor Response (SRT) team. This team functions as product management for a suite of current & future data tools to help the Digital Tech. & Embedded Systems team optimize supply chain performance. It also serves as program management for several strategic supply chain-related corporate initiatives. We are looking for an innovative multirole performer who can co-create new tools and strategies, create robust datasets and workflows, and work with critical suppliers to ensure Ford production. In this hybrid (3 days in-office per week) role you’ll have the opportunity to have a direct and significant impact on the company’s bottom line and enable achievement of our company-wide quality, cost, and delivery ambitions.

What you'll do…

Supply Chain Resilience Product Innovation & Ownership:

  • Champion supply chain data & analytics business needs

  • Work within business unit to develop concepts for new or existing tools

  • Collaborate with partners in GDIA & IT for tool development and ongoing improvement, providing tool validation as well as soliciting feedback from users

Supply Chain Data Infrastructure Design & Quality Assurance:

  • Design and develop supplier bill of material and value chain data capture templates

  • Create and implement quality assurance processes for captured data

  • Manage and audit database to address missing and / or incorrect bill of material relationships between Semiconductor Insights, Worldwide Engineering Release System (WERS), Ford Engineering Design Environment (FEDE), Common Material Management System (CMMS), MentorPCB, and Global Capacity Planning (GCP), etc.

  • Coordinate data capture needs across organization

Supply Chain Supplier Analysis ETL and Analysis Library Development

  • Establish ETL for all critical data sources utilized by Business Intel

  • Develop “analysis library” of all relevant and repeated analyses

  • Develop automation for Business Intelligence production work, eg, Monthly Safety Stock reporting

  • Develop supplier relationships and help ensure an open flow of Ford mission-critical information

Supply Chain Data Communication

  • Develop, as needed, presentations to support Executive, Board, and Leadership level discussions

You'll have…

  • Supply Chain business acumen

  • Experience with big data processing and analysis

  • Programming experience – ability to automate data processing flows

  • Experience with Analytics and data visualization

  • Knowledge of business systems like: Bills OF Material, Material Release, Purchasing Systems, etc.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, team environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Even better, you may have…

  • Basic knowledge of databases structure, structured queries, and Extract, Transfer, and Load (ETL)

  • Experience with computer programming

  • Familiarity with Alteryx and Qliksense/Tableau/Power BI software

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform

  • Direct Purchasing/Supply Chain experience

  • Experience with engineering parts release

  • Experience with Supplier Communications tools like SCE or ASCENT

This position is a salary grade 8.
