Construction Specialties is currently searching for qualified candidates in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Site Project Manager’s responsibility is to oversee the project execution from: design review, detailing, fabrication, installation, and project close out. In addition, this position requires interaction with clients, field personnel, detailers, subcontractors, and the project team during all stages of the project.

Oversee the project execution from: design review, detailing, fabrication, installation, and project close out.
Interact with clients, field personnel, detailers, subcontractors, and the project team during all stages of the project.
Provide field information and schedules to the support the team.
Maintain and update project schedules
Conduct field measurements or verifications of dimensions as contractually required.
Schedule Installs with our contract installers
Verify Installers have drawings and all necessary hardware for install
QC all field installations prior to approval of payment.
Review installers invoices and approve them on a weekly basis.
Work with Detailing Project Managers to coordinate production updates and changes
Generation of RFI’s, Change Orders
Create schedule of values
Evaluate project for potential cost impacts or savings
Coordinate shop drawings with detailers
Ensure timely shop drawing submittals and approvals
Communicate with the customer, inner office departments, shop, and field personnel
Visit sites to review the progress of your job
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)
High school diploma or equivalent required
5 years plus project Management experience with fabrication and installation of structural steel and miscellaneous metals required
Knowledge of codes for stairs and rails required
Familiarity with AISC and ASTM requirements required.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management skills including scheduling, drawing submittals, change orders submittals, initiating RFI’s, budgeting of projects, submitting pay applications, project coordination and planning.
Ability to manage multiple projects of assorted sizes and levels of complexity.
A team-player with the ability to communicate to all different members of the project team is essential
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft 365 Suite. Smartsheet and Teams used regularly.
Capable of working under stress.
OSHA Certified.
Some Saturdays could be required to work and supervise a specific task.
Daily travel to projects is required; 10-20% travel requirement outside of assigned projects/territory.
