Analyst, Comp & Analytics
This position assists with data analysis and audits for a range of wage and
hour projects and inquiries to support legal compliance of DaVita in terms of
adherence to all FLSA and Wage and Hour regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts proactive audits and data analysis regarding various wage and hour
issues, including, but not limited to, teammate time clock use,
supervisor time clock approvals, meal and rest breaks, travel time
Assists in implementing technological solution to review teammate time cards
and identify potential for missing information, incorrect entries, or
other potential concerns
Provides guidance to teammates and managers to ensure compliance with DaVita
Wage and Hour policies and practices, escalating to Wage and Hour leadership
as needed.
Collaborates with different departments on the upkeep of Wage and Hour policy
and process documentation, as well as assists with the development and/or
enhancement of internal training and education materials.
Supports the Labor Allocation process which includes: audits, facilitation
of meetings with Regional Operational Directors and People Services Managers
regarding staffing strategies or exemption changes, escalating to Manager
and Legal Partner as needed. Proactively identifies and explores any
enhancements needed to the data, reporting or system functionality.
Collaborates with field management on the need of implementation of labor
allocation attestation practices for different positions as well as on the
need of creating new non-exempt job codes.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of general business or legal
experience.
Two years' human resources or legal experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
Extensive experience with Excel, including knowledge of functions like
creating pivot tables and using VLOOKUP.
Ability to analyze large volumes of data in Excel, draw reasonable and
supportable conclusions, and concisely explain conclusions to Wage and Hour
leadership and other stakeholders.
Ability to identify confidential information and exercise appropriate judgment
and discretion.

Minimum of three (3) years' healthcare reimbursement experience
preferred ; experience with admissions, billing, and collections preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of insurance rules, regulations and Coordination of
Benefits for federal, state, and managed care payors in multiple states
preferred
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
