HDR is currently seeking a Bridge CAD/BIM Designer to join our team in
Denver. In the role of Bridge CAD/BIM Designer, we'll count on you to:
Prepare drawings, layouts, and sketches for conventional concrete and
steel bridges, retaining walls, box culverts, and other miscellaneous
structure
Develop details for complex concrete and steel bridges which may include:
prestressed concrete, cast-in-place concrete, steel plate girder,
segmental, and cable-stayed.
Edit or maintain 3D models, both basic and parametric.
Demonstrate ability to work independently with direction from supervisor and
engineers.
Comprehend and understand the things you are drawing or modeling.
Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree or technical school diploma, or combination of education
and relevant experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in bridge engineering or related projects.
A working knowledge of Microstation and/or AutoCAD.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to deal with change in a positive manner.
Aptitude for problem-solving, including ability to gather, organize and
interpret data.
Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with project team members.
Commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical school diploma in Engineering Technology.
Experience in creating 2D bridge plans from both 2D and 3D elements.
Experience with 3D CAD modeling in Microstation and/or AutoCAD.
Experience working with OpenBridge Modeler or other parametric 3D software.
Ability to interpret as-built plans for existing structures.
Ability to use Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Preference given to local candidates.

compensation range for this position is $56,364.00 - $80,520.00
annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical
