Job Title: Clinical Data Analyst
Location: Denver, CO
Hours/Schedule: Fulltime/ Hybrid
Compensation: $35-40/hr
Type: 6 month Contract

The ideal candidate will have experience with clinical data analytics, utilizing tools such as PowerBI, SQL, MS Access as well as other clinical applications. Responsibilities:
Serve as expert user and oversee internal and external quality databases and reporting systems
Develop and generate ad hoc reports
Oversee all clinical data registries and clinical performance systems both internal and external, and manage all clinical data analytics, including relevant Company and local systems
Leadership and facilitation of the facility’s core clinical systems team on clinical IT activities
Project leadership for facility-based implementations of clinical applications software releases and new products
Serve as project leader for facility-based implementations of clinical applications software releases and new products
Perform quality audits and tracks metrics related to clinical application use
Build strong relationships at the facility with core customer base (nurses, physicians, core team members, etc.) and facility leadership
Participate in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned
Utilize conceptual and diagnostic skills to prioritize and manage projects in an effective manner
Coach and facilitate teamwork through communications to assure prioritized quality initiatives achieve optimal outcomes
When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Clinical operations and process understanding.
Minimum five years of information systems experience using EMR/EHR and reporting, analytics, and integration.
Ability to translate clinical data requests into actionable and effective work products using a variety of commercial software products
Ensure that all work products meet operational as well as functional requirements, including performance, availability, reliability, latency, etc.
Responsible for analyzing business requirements, design and developing clinical and operational reporting
Create documentation, including source-to-target mappings and business-driven transformation rules
Develop new functionality or enhancements to existing reporting applications to support business objectives
Generate statistics, prepare and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process.
Understand pertinent accreditation guidelines, such as JCAHO, MQSA, HIPAA and ACR
