KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates with Project Managers for resources and delivery dates; Organizes and allocates those resources for the development, management, and completion of a wide range of electrical projects including PHAs, commissioning, and startup activities; ensures that projects are completed within the intended timeframe and budget.

  • Manages personnel involved with programs and projects including analysis, design, proposal efforts, and contractor management. Ensures that designs include current engineering, company standards, industry codes, and regulations, and that projects maximize operations efficiency, quality, flexibility, safety, scheduling, and reliability, while optimizing costs.

  • Mentors the team in the areas of project management, engineering, design, project cost control, quality objectives, scheduling, and safety to allow for the efficient completion of project assignments.

  • Supervises the team to fulfill technical requirements for electrical OPEX programs and projects to ensure they are completed in a safe, reliable, timely, cost-effective, and quality- controlled manner; Maintains knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations that have potential impact on present and future operations, projects, and design. Initiates recommendations, changes, and improvements to ensure adequate and cost-effective compliance.

  • Develops a collaborative teamwork approach; Fosters creativity and innovation while motivating employees to excel. Performs timely employee reviews and development plans for employees. Identifies and sponsors training for employees. Coaches and trains employees and delegates responsibility to develop staff.

  • Clearly communicates expectations to personnel; monitors and evaluates individual performance compared to expectations; determines the areas of strength and weakness of personnel and guides career development; appraises personnel of their performance status in a timely manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor's Electrical Engineering degree required from a 4-year accredited college or university. Professional Engineering License.• 5 years of prior leadership experience• 7 years of industry experience• 12 years of significant knowledge/experience in processing operations, supervision, design of gathering and compression systems, and electrical engineering.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
