Southland Holdings is currently accepting resumes for highly motivated construction workers to join our team as an Operator to move dirt and other materials on the job site at our Airport Project in Denver, CO. We are hiring dozer, excavator, articulated haul truck, roller compactors, water truck, telehandler and loader operators.
Duties: Depending on the equipment
Mass Excavation
Soil Placement and Compaction
Pipe Excavation
Fine Grading with GPS Dozer
Grading with Excavator
Loading trucks with loader
Off-loading trucks with loader
Loading and off-loading with Telehandler
Maintaining Equipment Maintenance inspections
Additional Certifications/Training:
DOT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1+ years operating excavators with utility background
Vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance experience
Skills to operate most pieces of heavy equipment, such as a loader, dozer, or backhoe.
This job requires the ability to perform essential job tasks in less than favorable job conditions. These may include,but are not limited to: Performing strenuous work in varying temperatures, humidity, sand, wind, or other extreme inclement weather conditions for extended periods of time.
LOCATION: Denver, CO
Pay: $25-$32
