We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for anIndustrial Maintenance Mechanicto join a leading Company located in theDenver, COsurrounding area.
Pay Rate: $36.55
Responsibilities :
Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, identifying potential issues and addressing them proactively
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and implement effective solutions
Overhaul and repair equipment components such as motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems
Repairs and Replacements:
Execute timely and efficient repairs, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
Replace defective parts, ensuring the use of appropriate materials and following equipment specifications
Collaborate with other team members to coordinate major equipment repairs and upgrades
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory
Provide detailed reports on equipment conditions, highlighting any recurring issues or trends
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment
Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the development of safety procedures
Basic Hiring Criteria :
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role with a minimum of one (1) year of experience
Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in industrial mechanics
Desired Qualifications :
Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
Able to follow directions
Excellent attention to detail
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
