Act as the escalation point for infrastructure protection security systems;
Perform security system maintenance and troubleshooting tasks; Review
escalated security systems alerts and logs; Correlate logs and alerts into
attack patterns including: assess and rank the risk to the enterprise and
create and lead action plan to reduce risk; Perform remediation of
vulnerabilities including risk ranking and scoring, oversight of
remediation, and create solutions and lead efforts to reduce risk; Perform
review of Infrastructure protection security system architecture; Review
existing security system rule sets; Provide vulnerability assessment and
potentially assist in penetration testing; and Aid in research of next
generation security issues, 0-day attacks, and provide input on strategy
for future security infrastructure and tools. Partial telecommuting may be
permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union, LLC,
7001 E Belleview Ave, Denver, CO 80237. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Information &
Communications Technology, Information Systems Security, or related field
plus 3 years of professional experience as a Systems Analyst, Security
Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving Information
Security. Must also have the following special skills: 3 years of
professional experience utilizing Information Security Infrastructure concepts
to safeguard from internal threats and mitigations measures; 2 years of
professional experience utilizing InfoSec tools including Splunk,
ProofPoint, CrowStrike, SIEM, XSOAR, AWS GuardDuty, AWS
Practitioner, and ServiceNow; and 2 years of professional experience
working with network and system monitoring tools including SIEM systems, threat
orchestration solutions, intrusion detection and prevention systems
(IDS/IPS), file integrity monitoring (FIM), and DLP. Apply at
