A day in the life
Prologis is seeking a Procurement Analyst that will be instrumental in
continuing to grow and support the Global Procurement Organization. As the
Procurement Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Procurement
team with data visualization, bid analysis, business intelligence, and
performance tracking and reporting. The Procurement Analyst will report to the
Manager, Procurement Shared Services. The ideal candidate will be
ambitious, entrepreneurial, open-minded and a well-rounded analytical thinker.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide spend analysis and insights that drive operational improvement and
cost savings. Report on Procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and
forecast performance for various spend categories.
Conduct bid analysis and make recommendations on award scenarios.
Create order forms and track order to delivery.
Manage internal cost and performance metrics. Update program status reports.
Synthesize inputs from program stakeholders and collaborate with our
technology teams to design, implement, and automate reports and dashboards.
Investigate operational needs, problems, and opportunities; create and
present solutions.
Collaborate with Procurement Managers and leadership to develop standards for
reporting on category information, including standard templates and data
views.
Maintain and assure data quality for internal use. Lead process improvement
efforts to improve data quality and efficient execution.
Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers,
partners, and other external parties.
Maintain an adaptable and "can-do" attitude.

Building blocks for success
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Supply
Chain or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
2+ years of data analysis experience (professionally or a combination of
education and experience), with an accounting/supply chain/business
operation focus.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
Experience with managing large datasets and merging data from multiple
databases.
Demonstrated expertise, familiarity, and ease with handling large data
sets to analyze, draw conclusions and present a coherent viewpoint.
Ability to deliver thought-out results with limited information and guidance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to independently manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Dedication to the team's success and work schedule flexibility to meet the
needs of an evolving business.
Comfort with deadlines, competing priorities, and ambiguity in outcomes
and organizational lines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with
stakeholders.
Demonstration of critical thinking before making a recommendation.
Willingness to participate in limited business travel needs dictate.
Preferred:
Tableau and Smartsheet experience.
Hiring Salary Range of: $65,000 - $89,000. Salary to be determined
by the c ndidate's location, education, experience, knowledge,
skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with
market data.This role is also eligible for Prologis' commission plan.
