Project Engineer On Demand Services Group

Life Sciences Group specializes in pharmaceuticals, biologicals, medical
devices, advanced therapy medicinal products and cannabidiol extraction
technologies. Our integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning
specialists, asset management professionals, project and construction
managers serve many of the world s Top 20 Life Sciences companies.
Project assignments can range from various manufacturing facilities to
research/development facilities to distribution/logistics centers. We are
experiencing growth as a firm and are seeing a qualified project engineer for
the On-Demand Services Group. This position can reside at one of these three
GBA offices: Cary, NC, Lenexa, KS or Broomfield, CO.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of
projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all
relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Function as an owner s representative and report to the clients management
lead
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Use and continually develop leadership skills
Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in an engineering field; preferably chemical or
mechanical engineering
At least 2 years of pharmaceutical/industrial engineering experience
Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others
In depth understanding and application of project management principles,
concepts, practices and standards
Excellent client-facing relationship building skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
skills
Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Access
and AutoCAD Lite
Must be wiling to travel regionally and/or nationally throughout the U.S.A.
Job assignments may req uire temporary relocation up to 12 months or more.
On the job training will be provided by the On-Demand Services group leader
and through industry training and certification courses, both online and in
person
EIT Engineering in Training or PE Professional Engineering License
preferred
Lean Green and/or Black Belt certification a plus
Salary:Approximately $65,000 - $85,000, depending on
education and experience
