Matrix Providers is currently seeking a detail focused and driven Pricing Analyst to join and support our Business Development team. The PA will work within Business Development to support the facilitation of proposal processes to include, the development and review of all proposal components including pricing efforts, market research, and strategic analysis to support production of final proposals. The individual must be motivated and proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: Up to $65k depending on experience

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor-s degree in either finance, general business, or related field.

  • Ability to think strategically with the ultimate result of improving business development and proposal outcomes.

  • Highly motivated, able to meet tight deadlines, prioritize efforts and work well under pressure.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word.

  • Flexibility - the ability to adapt to changing needs of the organization.

  • Knowledge of federal government business development processes is preferred.

  • Prior knowledge with reading and analyzing requests for proposals (RFPs) & requests for quotation (RFQs) is preferred.

  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.

  • Self-starter with willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, to include some nights and weekends.

  • Top notch communication skills (oral and written), ability to work in a team environment and drive interdepartmental cooperation and solutions.

    Responsibilities and Functions:

  • Track and review incoming Business Development opportunities daily, support decision conversation, assist with conducting analysis of proposal development and progress.

  • Analyze and understand proposal requirements. Reviews addendums and modifications of price information, job description qualifications, or contract requirements.

  • Analyze pricing data from industry standards, competitor research, and report data to decision-makers.

  • Conduct salary research utilizing various commercial and government resources. Build and complete compensation plans, pricing worksheets and any other required documents to be submitted to government in a timely manner.

  • Creatively utilizes all available data to develop competitive intelligence and builds competitive analysis to identify and set price-to-win targets in coordination with BD & Pricing Team.

  • Create, maintain, and update internal spreadsheets for use in compiling pricing reports, charts, and graphs for Leadership.

  • Effectively communicate with Partners/Subcontractors when needed during proposal process.

  • Coordinate and work directly with Operations to obtain pricing knowledge for current and future contracts.

  • Respond to and manage any pre-bid and post-bid revisions and edits, as required.

  • Continuous system updates to document notifications and outcomes for reporting purposes.

  • Participation with post-award process and tasks.

  • Support Business Development team by understanding and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

  • Support the Business Development team in completion of pricing spreadsheets, or research, as directed.
