Join our Mechanical Engineering Team!
Designing custom Switchgears, our Engineering Team meets the needs of our customers. Collaborating as a team, the Engineering team develops designs with our customers before sending the products to the next room for in-house production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
• Creating Designs, Fabrication, and Assembly drawings
• Bills of Material generation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products or equivalent.
• Collaborating and coordinating in a team environment across various internal departments, customers, and other organizations involved in projects.
• Experience with Sheet Metal and Structural Steel
• Understanding of electrical equipment is a plus
• Creating Fabrication / Assembly / Weldment drawings
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training, planning, assigning and directing work, performance appraisals, recommending rewards and/or discipline for employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. Performing annual reviews.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree (BS) from a four-year college or university and six to eight years of related experience and/or Training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Relevant Experience:
• Experience with ANSI Switchgear Designs
• Medium Voltage Experience Desired (5kv thru 38kv)
• Use of CAD and 3D Modeling software
