Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Shipping and Receiving
Coordinator for our Denver (Moline) Colorado facility. As a Shipping and
Receiving Coordinator for IPS you will be responsible for physical and
transactional incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying, and storing
records and loading and unloading trucks. As well as our customer storage
warehouse and inventory.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
Prepares and schedules shipments for postal or commercial conveyance;
determines most economical and efficient shipping method; selects
appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery.
Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing
slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return
shipments from customers.
Inspects shipments for damage or defects.
Performs quarterly Meg-Ohm tests and records in tablet system.
Track lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates
proof of delivery and maintain department database, prepare routine
reports, and file shipping/receiving records.
Assign and maintain inventory location in ACS and tablet system.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse.
Will be required to operate dolly, pallet jack, forklift, and overhead
cranes in loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives,
continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental,
and/or infection control standards.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Records maintenance skills preferred
Inventory management preferred
Good computer skills
Ability to work overtimeas needed based on business needs
Ability to lift, push or pull items up to 70 lbs. in weight
Proven ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment
Knowledge of light equipment operation and/or maintenance
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing
dynamics
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork
