This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue
Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's
mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are
building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from
Earth to the lunar surface. Our MK2 Crew Lander mission will demonstrate the
lander's core capabilities - including the privately funded BE-7 landing
engine, precision landing sensors, and integrated power and propulsion
architecture - as a precursor to certifying the vehicle for use by NASA as
part of the Artemis lunar exploration program. The team building this vehicle
is rethinking how space systems are designed, with a high-performance
architecture, efficient reusability, and rapid design iteration. Join our

As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and
engineers, you will work to design, analyze, build, test,
integrate, deliver, and operate fluids and propulsion subsystems on Lunar
lande
We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership
skills, communication skills, and dedication to quality to positively
impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Generate and run structural analysis models and provide design feedback
Provide feedback on structural design and quantify performance over a variety
of environments
Analyze design of fluid system valves for mass, stiffness, leakage,
reliability
Support complete life cycle of the valves from definition, interfaces,
conceptual design, detailed design, component development, assembly,
verification, and operation
Work closely with designers to improve designs to deliver better than current
state of the art performance
