About The Role:

As a CBRE Business Systems Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for formulating and defining complex system scopes and objectives.

This role is part of the Business Systems Job Function. They are responsible for working with internal partners and business units to develop, install and improve new and current systems

What You'll Do:

  • Take part in the business process to identify and implement technical solutions.

  • Respond to collaborator inquiries regarding system processes and capabilities.

  • Research and support sophisticated end-user applications and test end-user processes using defined guidelines.

  • Develop relationships with high-level clients and internal and external IT teams.

  • Review information on areas of improvement and implement changes to increase user happiness.

  • Log and supervise work tickets with external product vendors or support organizations. Provide end-users with a detailed explanation of ways to use the systems in a more efficient manner.

  • Devise and change procedures to address sophisticated problems. This includes an evaluation of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into accurate system specifications.

  • Create correspondence, presentations, and other materials for end-user training.

  • Generate customized queries and reports applying sophisticated table matrices.

  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish work you're doing and tackle routine problems.

  • Have a broad knowledge of the subject area and some knowledge of several subject areas within the function.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • Explain sophisticated information to others in straightforward situations.

  • Handle service requests submitted through internal ticketing management systems and/or other Google tools.

  • Project management related documents (charter, requirements, timeline and responsibility matrix, Meeting agendas, notes, facilitation guide for each meeting)

  • Written status updates for each project/initiative) via email or other internal tracking tools

  • Manage all data integrations (API’s, ETL’s, etc.) for any incoming data from external CBRE data sources.

  • Tool Development: Build and maintain any internal data integrations between necessary tools and systems.

  • AI/ML Initiatives: Investigate and prototype innovative solutions that align with business needs and vision. Research, develop and/or implement innovative program/project management tools and processes.

  • Reporting: Collect business requirements, then design and build new dashboards and reports. Maintain all existing dashboards and reports.

  • Data Infrastructure: Reconcile data, as needed, to be able to provide any vital reports and dashboards. Detail the data architecture for any tables and data sets used for reports and dashboards. Develop data structures and pipelines to prioritize, collect, cleanse, and standardize data in order to generate insights and address reporting needs.

  • Business Intelligence/Performance Management: Develop, establish and collect performance metrics for the technology, data and innovation services; to be reviewed and adjusted annually or as otherwise appropriate.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to tackle slightly sophisticated problems.

  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

  • In-depth knowledge of Google Suite products. Examples include Docs, Sheets, gMail, etc

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive attitude.

  • Fluent with scripting in SQL, Python, Java and data visualization tools such as Looker Data Studio

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Business Systems Sr Analyst position is $85,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the Business Systems Sr Analyst position is $100,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
