Wells Fargo Wells Fargo Inventory Finance Workout Leader in DES MOINES, Iowa

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Inventory Finance Workout Leader to support our Commercial Banking group.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the workout team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues related to problem accounts to meet higher risk deliverables, interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk product or service

  • Lead the team to review and analyze problem account portfolios for key issues related to cash flow, liquidity, leverage, working capital, debt coverage, collateral/enterprise value analysis, and repayment sources, including for use in periodic reviews

  • Develop product education and strategies within the context of individual deals and client relationships to continually develop teams to anticipate and understand clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions to establish account strategy

  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership to lead the strategy and resolution of more complex to highly complex scenarios and unique challenges by synthesizing industry and economic trends, including legal and regulatory issues, in addition to regular portfolio reviews to manage risk and lead problem loan resolutions, where applicable

  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for workout activities and teams

  • Partner with product management functional partners to provide vision, leadership and industry expertise on client and market needs that enable large-scale companywide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and influence financial operations that ensure the initial set up and management of the portfolio adheres to all applicable credit policies or compliance requirements and prepare for periodic exams by internal and external auditors

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives for multiple products or specialties

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding legal nuances of bankruptcy, repossession and restructuring within inventory financing

  • Strong knowledge of Workout practices

  • Experience working on large-scale initiatives, coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups and geographic regions

  • Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior management and ability to articulate key messages around risk, issues, customer impacts, etc.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Responsible for oversight and management of problem account/workout team members and processes.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

Salary is just one component of Wells Fargo's total rewards package. Depending on the role, a Wells Fargo's employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
