A position has opened in Honeywell UOP for an ambitious Supply Chain Planning operations professional with experience in SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) and Project Management (PM). The primary duties of the role include owning several key initiatives including SIOP maturity advancement, strategic planning operations, and implementing advanced planning software Kinaxis Rapid Response for UOP. You will report to the Supply Chain Planning Director and have the opportunity to drive critical initiatives to transform the tools, process, and capabilities of our planning organization resulting in sustainable improvements directly impacting UOP’s key KPIs including Revenue/OI, Cost Reduction and Free Cash Flow.

As a Project Manager, you will lead several, key periodic demand and supply planning processes. You will initiate and lead projects implementing best-in-class planning systems across UOP’s global footprint to ensure these initiatives deliver their expected outcomes. You will be a key team member and leader to execute the vision and goals for these initiatives, including implementation of the Kinaxis Rapid Response system. The successful candidate must be capable of performing project management tasks for a large-scale initiative. This includes using proven PM methods such as effective change management strategies, coordinating and facilitating cross-functional meetings and training, and leading continuous improvement activities to achieve superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assure planning systems and data utilization and accuracy in SAP, develop and analyze planning scenarios using advanced linear program optimization tool

  • Prepare for and lead implementation of Kinaxis Rapid Response

  • Partner with planners and manufacturing sites to analyze production capacities, identify constraints, and determine how to resolve issues to optimize performance and meet or exceed key performance metrics (i.e. revenue, margin, service, inventory)

  • Lead key elements of monthly SIOP planning process, including analyzing demand and supply plans, raw material requirements and translation into monetized forecasts. Drive close coordination and alignment across functions to assure successful execution of SIOP plan

  • Lead continuous improvement activities to improve SIOP maturity and effectiveness and achieve superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).

  • Complete Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Operation Plan (STRAP) and lead overall assessment including capacity planning and resource loading

  • Present relevant topics and issues to senior leadership as needed

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree (i.e. Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field)

  • Minimum 10 years of experience working with supply chain planning, S&OP/SIOP, or related supply chain operations

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Advanced Planning and Scheduling tools (SAP APO or Kinaxis Rapid Response) and MS Office suite including intermediate to advanced Excel

  • Project Management certification or willingness to obtain it within 6 months of starting the position and experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously

WE VALUE

  • Advanced degree (MBA or MS in related field)

  • Industry relevant certifications (i.e. APICS, LEAN, Six Sigma)

  • Experience planning in a global business with chemical process manufacturing, complex portfolio and supply chain

  • Experience using and/or implementing Kinaxis Rapid Response across sites globally

  • Proficient in advanced analytics using Power BI or similar

  • Effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence to drive change among stakeholders including senior leadership

  • Travel – up to 30%
