Actalent is currently seeking several Controls Engineers and Integrators for an Automation Solutions provider based out of Columbus, OH. This company provides custom automation, repeat automation and a variety of automation products for the following industries: life sciences, food & beverage, transportation, consumer products, and energy.
The Automation Solutions provider has had a large influx of projects with their current clients and these Robotic Engineer positions will be supporting the projects. Initially these positions will be slotted as 5 month contract positions but there is an opportunity for each individual to have their contract extended. These positions will be working at customer sites in Detroit, MI.
-The ability to program, edit, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems with Fanuc robotics in automated assembly cells
-Work within a team in order to connected the PLC side with the Fanuc controller
-Identifying and diagnosing issues within the cells when it pertains to the Fanuc robots
-Experience with GCCS certifications or GM Global Standards
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-3+ years working with Fanuc robots
-Fanuc robot integration
-A degree within an engineering discipline is a plus
-The ability to travel for long periods of time
