Our Deventer facility, renowned for its chocolate, coatings, and fillings, is embarking on an exciting expansion journey. With a new factory and production line, we're set to double our capacity, enabling us to introduce innovative products such as sugar-reduced, palm-free, hazelnut, and vegan options. Our diverse range of offerings spans across bakery, cereal bars, energy bars, ice cream, spreads, confectionery, and cereals.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Continuous Improvement Specialist will help develop, implement and sustain process improvement initiatives using relevant industry methodologies. In this role, you will conduct continuous improvement activities with low project cost and risk and activities with well defined processes for a single site or location.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide updates on the project objectives, performance measures, issues and risks.

  • Monitor, and implement continuous improvement best practices.

  • Develop and coordinate continuous improvement plans for projects with low cost and risk in order to reach and sustain project goals.

  • Participate in conducting organization readiness assessments, value realization, opportunity prioritization, resource evaluation and execute continuous improvement strategies that meet business requirements.

  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Take initiative and work independently: As the CI-lead, you are responsible for actively seeking out work and discovering solutions independently.

  • Bridge theory and practice: You will integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications, demonstrating strong analytical skills to achieve this.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical related field or equivalent experience

  • Dutch speaking and Writing skills

Preferd Qualifications

  • lean Green/Black belt
